CHAPTER the one who will make the product.
CHAPTER III RESEARCH METHODOLOGY Research Design Research Population The respondents were the 15 persons from the community of Brgy. Daga, Cadiz City, School Year 2011-2012. There were 2 males and 13 females in the experimental group. These respondents were those who suffer from hair dryness. These respondents were not force to be involved, but they voluntarily agreed to be a part of this investigation.
Research Instrument The research instrument in this study was a survey questionnaire. It consists of 4 specific questions regarding of the products. Each question is graded by the respondents from 1-5 points each. The researcher used different treatments in evaluating the data. Validation of the Instruments Two sets of survey questionnaire were given in each respondent. One for the alternative product and the other is for the commercial product. These sets of survey questionnaire were given to the respondents after the application of each products.
Procedure Data Treatment The following are statistical formula to analyze results and evaluate the research hypothesis: 1. The Mean- is used in comparing the two sets of data because it can be easily calculated and unique. Data Treatment per Research QuestionsResearch Questions| Statistical Treatment| RQ 1| Mean| RQ 2| Mean| RQ 3| t-Test| Research Design The researcher use Control group design. Control group design- uses at least two groups, the experimental and the control group. The researcher involved in the study because the researcher is the one who will conduct the study, manipulate the control and experimental variables, the one who will make the product. The researcher conducts the study to contribute a new idea to the knowledge of other people, that there is sub-product to the commercial one, which no bad effect to the environment and to the user.
Research Population The researcher collects his sample in their community houses and farms such as insect like grasshopper. The researcher gets his sample in their small lot in the back of their house, the researcher other sample get in the house of his relatives. Research Instrument The researcher will conduct a study, and constructs a table for the data collection.
There are two set of variable the experimental is the mortality rate and control group is the two manipulated insecticide. The table show the number of mortality rate of the researcher sample in every different percentage of manipulated insecticide, which is homemade and commercial insecticide. The collected data for the homemade insecticide will be compared to the collect data of commercial insecticide. The table was constructed by the researcher and approve by the adviser. Procedure: The three main materials that will be needed in the study will be prepared.
Two hundred grams of fresh chili fruits and coronitas leaves and flowers, will be picked and cut from the coronitas and chili plant. The one hundred grams of tobacco will be bought in the market. The two hundred grams of coronitas will be cut in two pieces by the used of scissor, then put into mortar and pestle and were crushed and pounded will to extract juice. The pounded coronitas will be put in the net bag and was squeezed until the juice extracted totally.
The extract juice will be put in the plastic caps. The same procedure will be used in extracting the juice of chili, but in the tobacco you should add 10ml of water in every 50 grams, in order to extract its juice, the water that will be added in the tobacco will be measured by using test tube.In every 100 grams of coronitas you can extract 15ml, the extract juice of chili, coronitas, and tobacco will be combined in the beaker by the used of stirring rod, then the combine extract of chili, coronitas, and tobacco will put in the empty bottle of parfume, then it will be the finished product or the homemade insecticide. Data Treatment The following are statistical formula to analyze results and evaluate the research hypothesis: 1. The Mean- is used in comparing the two sets of data because it can be easily calculated and unique.
