These are: (i) Forming at this stage the team members get to know each other, they are more polite and form relationships. Some are anxious, as they may not fully understand what work the team will do whilst others are simply excited about the task ahead. (ii) Storming this is the most difficult phase as this is where the team gets to experience personality clashes. Others may get to question the groups’ vision and shun away from taking on tasks. If not handled appropriately the team may not pass this phase. (iii) At the norming stage the team members get to develop sense of belonging as they bring out the best from each other taking into account their strengths and have mutual respect.
