Today’s however have two children myself, a six

Today’s Challenges of the American Family Times have certainly changed from when our parents were children growing up. Back in the 60s and 70s they didn’t have nearly as many problems or issues that we face today as American families. I believe that some of the major issues we face today is peer pressure.

One person in a group or clique can have such a strong influence on one that it can cause them to do things that is totally out of character and that they would not ordinarily do.Even with social status, one child may have something and another child may look at it in envy and feel inferior to the other child because they have more than they do. Another issue is bullying. Bullying has gotten so out of control that our children are committing suicide to escape from it.

I remember when I was a child and I thought that children were cruel, but it doesn’t even compare to how crazy some children have gotten today. I don’t mean to call someone else’s child crazy but that’s the only word that I can use to describe it.I would hate to sound cruel myself but a lot of this bullying has come from children who have supposedly “come out” as homosexuals.

I myself am a Minister of the Gospel and I don’t believe in homosexuality. I believe God’s word that it is an abomination and that it is a spirit, however the media and “Hollywood” have made it accepted and actually like its more normal than being heterosexual. I believe that it is foolish and not acceptable. I do however have two children myself, a six year old son and two year old daughter, so I dare not say anything that I my regret later.

I just hope that my husband and I do a good enough job covering our children in the blood of Jesus so that if these spirits ever present themselves to take over their lives that there will be no prevail. I also believe that another issue is that there aren’t enough positive role models. Our children are away from of us most of the day so what we don’t teach them the world will and its sad that we have these people that are doing everything under the sun that our children are looking up to and aspiring to be because they see them on tv.Granted these celebrities are only human as well, however I feel that when you choose that life you should be held to a higher standard because there are millions of people looking to you to be like you and sure we all fall short but just being a good person and making good decisions should just come natural. I am by no means saying that I am perfect or don’t make bad decisions everyday but I try. With everything that’s going on all we can do is ask God to keep a hedge of protection around us and keep his warring angels encamped about us because these are the end times and the world is only going to get crazier.
