This study exploded the significance of using job analysis as a tool for developing and compiling job description and set a standard operating procedure. The researcher developed a theoretical frame work which explain each concept.
The study is based on Manitou Southern Africa where sample of 50 employees of Aftermarket Department
Sample of 50 participants were drawn from Manitou Southern Africa Aftermarket Department. 7 of them hold managerial position,41 general workers and 2 domestic workers. The data was collected using mixed method as it’s gives a complete and synergistic utilization of data than separate quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis.
It was found that employees don’t know their job description, everyday when they come to work they perform different tasks.
The study reveals that job analysis is important tool for Human Resource practice, which if it’s used accordingly can give organization like Manitou Southern Arica competitive advantage.
