The Bronze age took place in the time frame of 3000 and 1000 BCE

The Bronze age took place in the time frame of 3000 and 1000 BCE. Prior to the Bronze age you had the Paleolithic, Mesolithic, and the Neolithic period. In these early stages many were still living a Nomadic lifestyle which ment they must travel to maintain a food source. But during the Neolithic period, people began the early stages of settlement style civilization. Soon after, settlements begin to thrive and with the success brought on the creation of City-States as well as the Bronze. During the Bronze Age people began figuring out how to develop the resource into tools such as, weapons or farm equipment. This would help the advance development of agriculture all over the Mediterranean as well as all of Europe. Soon the Bronze Age was developed, as stated earlier around 3000 BCE, people started to replace copper with bronze into their daily life’s. ‘Humans made many technological advances during the Bronze Age, including the first writing systems and the invention of the wheel.’ 1 It wouldn’t take long for people to see the superiority in bronze.
The Differences between the Neolithic Age, the Bronze Age, and the Iron Age are clear. The Neolithic Age was presenting the earliest stages of agriculture. As well as the introduction into pottery, and sedentary lifestyles. They were forced to make use of what they could inside their borders due to the fact that complex trade networks had not quite been set up yet.
While in the Bronze Age, the empires played huge roles, yet they had little to no access to the copper and tin required inside their borders. This forced complex trade networks between nations that had never been seen before. The new resource led to chariot-centralized armies, grand irrigation, and very developed social hierarchies for the time.
For me personally the biggest influence I see in our world today from the bronze age is either the Literature break throughs or the discovery of the wheel. The impact of both accomplishments can still be seen today in our everyday life. The wheel plays into transportation, agriculture, etc.
