Holistic health assessment and nursing process are essential in nursing to develop an effective care plan for individual needs. The purpose of this assessment is to develop nursing care plan for patient by using critical thinking which it is comprised case study one and case study two. For the case study one, the holistic health assessment will be using to gather information and develop care plan for Mr. Bobby. For the case study two, nursing process will be using to develop care plan for Mrs. Williams by adapting holistic health assessment to obtain physical, culture and social of patient’s information. Which is to maintain safeguarding and quality in care plans
Holistic health assessment is essential in nursing process to develop an effective care plan for individual needs. It is the process where nursing obtains information from patient that is focused on the whole person (Mcllfatrick ; Hasson 2013), which it comprises of physical, emotional, social, religious, culture and developmental (Zamanzadeh et al. 2015). Which holistic health assessment is an important tool for nursing to understand patient needs (Mcllfatrick ; Hasson 2013).
