Can you bring your dog to work? No? I didn’t think so, unless you work at a pet store. What about arguing with you boss for research purposes? Each job is different, but they are all the same in many ways. All jobs have workplace culture. What does having workplace culture mean? According to the article “Inside Amazon” by Jodi Kantor and David Streitfeld, workplace culture can have several different meanings. Work place culture means meeting certain standards. Work place culture also means having friendly or not so friendly competition in the work place. Lastly, work place culture means having the right determination or motivation to exceed goals.
Work place culture is important in many aspects of employees’ wellbeing. A positive work place that takes consideration.
