There is a reason why The Great Gatsby written by F

There is a reason why The Great Gatsby written by F. Scott Fitzgerald is a classic novel, it has been read by millions and has caught people’s eye throughout decades. The story is taking place on the Long Island, focusing mostly on Daisy Buchanan’s relationship with Tom Buchanan and Jay Gatsby. The author demonstrates to readers, apparently, two people with unique backgrounds, contrasting society’s views and two different types of wealth; however, the characters of Tom and Gatsby are very much alike. They both love the same woman and don’t want to let her go, each of them took place in Daisy’s past, being wealthy and maintaining the high social status is a priority for both of them. Despite those similarities, the way Tom and Gatsby try to accomplish their goal, to win Daisy is very different.
