The safeguarding policy ensures that all students are protected from any potential harm whether this be inside of school, at home, or in the community. This policy outlines that everyone who comes into contact with children and their families and carers has a role to play in safeguarding children. The safeguarding policy supports children and young people to feel safe because it ensures that all staff and adults should consider what is in the best interest of the child when it comes to situations. Children will be able to disclose any sensitive information and concerns to the school in confidence that it will be dealt with professionally, straight away. The safeguarding policy also supports students because it ensures that there is an outcome to each safeguarding issue and that it has been resolved to prevent any further potential harm to the child.
