The overall aim in a game of Touch Football is for your team to score more touchdowns than your opponents. This is achieved by placing the ball in your opponent’s `Touchdown Zone’. Defensively, to stop the other team from scoring a player must touch the player with the ball. Each team has six `touches’ in a set before they need to handover the ball to their opponents. Defenders are must be a minimum of five meters back when an attacker rolls the ball or risk being called `offside’ by the referee. Each team is made of six players, and three different positions: middle, link and wing, see appendix one. The middle position plays a key role in the game of touch football, offensively and defensively.
