The origin of life has caused scientists to infer and develop research on which theory explains the emergence of life. As early as 1802, Scientist Jean-Baptiste Lamarck proposed that primitive life forms would appear even at the lowest extreme of each evolutionary line. Scientists such as Charles Darwin, Louis Pasteur, and John Tyndall have made experiments and have challenged this theory based on their own beliefs, knowledge, and information based on research. More controversies arose on the origin of Earth, as it was suggested by Hermann J. Muller that the first living form had been a gene that had been through replication, catalysis, and mutability. Some scientists wondered if life originated on Mars and then contaminated Earth or vice versa. Many other theories arose such as life originating with a heterotopic metabolic mode, metabolic routes, genetic polymers, and metabolism. The approach used today to determine this is the synthetic biology and empirical approach.
The intent of writing this paper was to allow the reader to truly wonder and comprehend the levels of evidence to how life originated and came to be. I don’t think that this article was meant to persuade another, but to inform the many possibilities of life on Earth. The arguments were supported by strong evidence as visual evidence was given among these diagrams. The diagram that shows how geochemistry and cosmochemistry result in universal Cen ancestor proves that life started with metabolic routes. Another example of an argument strongly proven by evidence is that life originated with a heterotopic metabolic mode. In the diagram is shows how different types of origins create processes of energy such as photosynthetic. In my opinion, I think Earth was created due to a catastrophic event in the universe due to its surrounding environment and life on earth from other planets.
