The life of a Benedictine Nun is very different to the life of anyone you would know

The life of a Benedictine Nun is very different to the life of anyone you would know. The sisters wake early at around 4 in the morning to pray and spend their day depending on their position, making candles, books, gifts and cards, they also guide their visitors and guests, complete household chores, cook, garden, sew and work in liturgy, library and infirmary. The Benedictine Nuns have no electronics such as mobile phones and television, they spend the majority of their days in silence to help maintain a peaceful environment and attend the church seven times a day. h h h h h h
