The revolution was a great time for new developments. For example; iron and textile industries as well as the development of the steam engine, played at a very important role in the Industrial Revolution with transportation, communication and banking. The progress of the industrial revolution is determined by the availability to transport materials and goods over long voyages. There were three types of transportation that improved during the Industrial Revolution: waterways, roads, and railroads. Transportation was important because people were starting to live in the surrounding city and county of Bristol. During this time period, transportation via water was the cheapest way to move heavy products.
when it came the revolution brought good things with it but also the bad. Made money, all of which seem possible. This meant; creating jobs for people from different financial class. It also played a big part in the movement of people from the cities that grew up.
