Legislative

Legislative

Legislative, Judicial, and Executive are the three branches of government. I would have to say that the branches all have great power of their own at very different times. It has been proven multiple times throughout the US that the Judicial branch has the power to establish a new interpretation of existing law. With that being said, the Judicial branch has the power and the capability to halt the Executive and the Legislative branch. The Judicial branch will have the final say in a lot of things majority of the time. The judicial branch has so much power that it will usurp the will of the people. to some people the Executive branch is the most powerful because the president has control over the foreign policy, has a veto, and they can decide how to enforce the laws. I believe that the Judicial branch is the most powerful because it literally controls everything. You cannot go through anything without the Judicial branch knowing about it and them having a possibility to overturn everything that they have tried to work for. The Judicial branch also has the power to declare an act of the congress, and also the can declare an act of the executive branch. A prime example of this would be the Marbury v. Maddison. The Judicial branch had been framed, so that the Supreme Court judges are allowed to have lifetime terms. This branch is a lot different from the other two branches because the other two branches of government have elected officials have term limits. These are some of the reasons why the Judicial branch is the more powerful out of the three branches of government. Which is why I believe that the Judicial branch is the most powerful of the three, it just shows me how much they have.
