In terms of Education system, China has the largest in the world. China’s education centre has reported on June 2017 that there were 9.4 million students taking the National Higher Education Entrance Examination in China. In the same year alone the Chinese government has record investment of about 4% of total GDP in China.
The Chinese government passed a compulsory education law in 1986, making nine years of education compulsory for all Chinese children to get compulsory lessons. Today, about 99% of the school-age children have received universal nine-year basic education as estimated by the Ministry of Education.

Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China has 935 higher education institutions in China in which International students are also enrolled as well and each year the government of china encourages more overseas students to register on those institutions. On March 2018, 489 200 international students were studying in China in 2017, announced by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China.
