If a voltage disturbance occurs in the line

If a voltage disturbance occurs in the line, DVR injects a series voltageV_DVR, thus compensating load voltage to a required load voltage. The three injected phase voltages momentary amplitudes are controlled to eliminate detrimental effects of actual voltage to the load voltageV_L. This ensures that any differential voltages caused by transient disturbances in the ac feeder will be compensated by an equivalent voltage injected through the injection transformer, generated by the converter. The DVR functions independently to the type of fault or any event that occurs in the system, provided that the whole system remains connected to the supply grid.
