Growing up in a foreign country was a strange experience

Growing up in a foreign country was a strange experience, but it was also a growing experience for my family and I. When I first came here with my family there was many conflicts and problems, not knowing much english, having little to none money, working many jobs. As time went on my family gradually were settling down in the states. All in all my family worked tremendously hard for me. Giving me a life full of opportunities and freedom, and even giving up their own freedom for mine. My family taught me how to be humble and to enjoy life in general even through hard times.
