duty and care is the legal obligation to safeguard others from danger or harm while they are in your care, using your facilities and services, or exposed to your activities. it is also a duty of a health care worker to take good care of a susceptible adults and to ensure that their needs and well-being are well looked after. respect individual’s best interest, which includes protecting them from any form of abuse that may occur and avoid any acts that could possibly result in injury but it also means respecting service user and giving them choices. to ensure that service user is taken care of in a reasonable, responsible and in respectful manner alongside with my organization’s policies and procedures.
