My phone with them we asked them to

My Favorite Childhood Memory When I was about 4 or 5 my brothers and I were thinking of playing hide and go seek in the house.

Our mom and dad were gone on a date. They went out to lunch and to a movie. We called them on the phone to see when they will be back, so they wouldn’t walk in and wonder what we were doing. Before we got off the phone with them we asked them to call on the way home because we set the alarm.

They responded and said ok. After we got off of the phone with them we played rock, paper, and scissors first to see who was going to count. Of course my brothers cheated so I had to count first.Here I am sitting on the couch, which was the base counting 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 ready or not here I come. The first place I looked was in the laundry room. No one was there, so I thought. I ran to the main bathroom and checked in the tub.

No one was there. The next place I went was my brother’s room. I looked in the closet and under the bed, there was no one there. I walked in mom and dad’s room and I looked in their closet, under the bed, and in their shower. Still no one was there. I sat there and thought for a second; then I thought I didn’t check my room and the garage.Of course, my brother wasn’t in my room.

I ran to the base to see if one of them had made it and there both of them were sitting on the couch laughing. I screamed “I looked everywhere for y’all!!! Where were you? ” They responded “We were in the garage and laundry room. ” I was stuck counting again. When I finished counting this time I thought they would be hiding in the garage or laundry room again. They weren’t in there.

I thought hmmm where could they be? I came back in the house and started down the hallway. I made it halfway down the hall and they grabbed me. I was screaming to the top of my lungs.

They wrapped me up in two sheets and double knotted each of them. After getting the sheets tied really tight they took me in the bathroom and put me in the tub. They ran out and turned off the lights. I was afraid of the dark. I had to untie both sheets in order to get out. When I got out I tried calling mom and dad to tell them what happened, but I took so long in the tub they were almost home.

By the time they walked into the house my brothers were waiting and they kept me from telling. All leads to say is that I had fun playing hide and go seek when I was younger especially always getting tied up and having to find my way out.
