Berjaya Food Bhd’s stock price are lower, although it returned to the black market in the last quarter due to sales of Starbucks store and handling its loss operation Kenny Rogers Roasters in Indonesia ended April 30 in Kuala Lumpur. The stock fell 1.2%, or two sen to RM1.64. Berjaya Food announced a net profit of RM837,000 for the last quarter ended on April 30. It compared with the loss of RM3.37mil in the same period of the previous year, the revenue increased by 5.7% to RM160mi, compared to RM151.4mil. Berjaya Food’s net profit fell 88% to RM1.4mil compared with RM11.4mil previously on cumulatively for the full year ended on April 31. Its annual revenue increased by 5.6% or RM639.6mil from RM604.5mil in the same period last year.
