The STS-108 crewmembers — Commander Dom Gorie, Pilot Mark Kelley, Mission Specialists Linda Godwin and Dan Tani, and Expedition Three Commander Frank Culbertson — will share their mission experiences aboard Space Shuttle Endeavour with JSC employees, contractors, friends, family members and public guests. This event is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.

Once the 580-seat Iwerks Theater fills, remaining guests will be seated in an adjacent area to view the program electronically. Expedition Four Prepares for Second Space WalkExpedition Four’s main objective Thursday onboard the International Space Station was continuing preparations for a space walk that will be conducted by Commander Yury Onufrienko and Flight Engineer Dan Bursch. Thursday’s activities included reviewing the space walk’s timeline and checking equipment. The extravehicular activity will be Expedition Four’s second and is slated to take place Jan. 25.

Bursch and Onufrienko will install three amateur radio antennas and install thruster deflector shields onto the aft end of the Zvezda Service Module. Space Shuttle Columbia Moves to VABSpace Shuttle Columbia rolled out of the Orbiter Processing Facility and into the Vehicle Assembly Building on Wednesday at Kennedy Space Center, Fla. Columbia is slated to launch no earlier than Feb. 28 to begin STS-109, which is also known as Hubble Space Telescope Servicing Mission 3B. While in the in the Vehicle Assembly Building, or VAB, the orbiter will be connected to the External Tank. Over the weekend, the monoball interface will be connected between the tank and orbiter. Then, on Monday, technicians will perform the Shuttle Interface Test.

Columbia is slated to roll out to Launch Pad 39A later next week.
