For example, I would place the scales somewhere which would not be affected by the surroundings; when I was weighing the sodium hydroxide pellets the scale was near an open window so that could’ve given me a wrong result. In addition, I would read the steps of the practical much more closely so that I can understand what to do and the experiment would run more smoothly as I would not have to stop at each step to see what to do next; this would also save time and allow more time for repeats to be made so that I could get an average result and see if my results are reproducible.
